The Scrap Suite Challenges.

HI there, I hope your day is going well.. it is a bit of a sticky day here with high humidity, so I am staying close to a fan!!

This last week I have been creating for the challenges for THE SCRAP SUITE which has had 5 challenges to do..  I will  list the challenges and my layouts for each one. I do love these challenges as it makes me just hurry up to get 5 layouts done in a week!

and they were..

my layout..

I have used an older range of kaiser papers and the flowers flair and sequin bow are all D-lish goodies!

I have used 3 lots of wood veneers with the leaves and the word sisters colored..

I have tried to fade the photo into the page, using gesso and mists.. my circle embellishments are the buttons..

This is what I used. I gathered up the requirements first..

and cut up the chipboard and inked the flourish with stamp ink..  and created this..
That one was a great challenge to only use what was in the countdown criteria..

Thanks so much for your visit and I always love reading your comments too..

Once Upon A Sketch November...

A big hello to you, thanks for dropping in!

The challenge over at ONCE UPON A SKETCH is another thought provoking one.. to use the sketch and use the theme of inspiration.. So many things inspire me, but I just had to do a layout using a photo and verse that mean a lot to me..

I used the sketch like this..
I will show a college of closer views and then my journalling which I put on the back of my layout..

I have used lace that I cut carefully off an old t-shirt, dies and mini roses..

My journalling.. which explains why I created this layout..

and my layout..

On Eagles Wings..

I can't help but be inspired when I read that verse and think of the eagles who soar up high on the winds above the land and to think that God has promised His help in our times of weakness gives me strength during seasons that have been difficult.. and we all have had those times..  I hope this has been an encouragement to you today and inspired you on your life's journey..

And I would just like to share with you a song I sing often and find comfort in..

ON EAGLES WINGS

Thanks for coming by, and thank you for your comments too..

Feeling Sketchy card #106, Creative Scrappers #281 and Scrap the Girls November..

A very good day to you! Thank you for coming by! I hope the start of your week is going really well..

I have a few things to put up on my blog today!

The card sketch #106 over at FEELING SKETCHY is a very versatile one, so much so I used it for 3 cards I have created last week.. I created the first one and then my niece asked me to make her a wedding card and then I realized it was my nephews birthday, so I have used this sketch for the 3 cards!!

and the sketch..

the first one..
I have used 3-D stickers for this card..

The birthday card..
I dusted off my little cricut machine for the words 'birthday boy' and seven..

and the Wedding card.
I have used Kaiser papers, ribbon roses and Dies for this card.

I really loved the latest sketch #281 for CREATIVE SCRAPPERS which looks like..

What a challenge for me to use a small photo and have white space.. and my layout..

a couple of closer views..

and my layout.
Life is beautiful..
I have stamping, texture paste and splats on my 'white space!'

and the November challenge for SCRAP THE GIRLS is a fabulous sketch which looks like..
and I have used the wonderful Bo Bunny papers Madeleine for my layout..

a couple of closer views..

I have used some really old Kaiser flowers on this... the buttons are Bo Bunny..

Enjoy the little things.
Well thanks so much for your visit, and thank you too for the lovely comments you leave me..

123 Challenge Blog November and Page Drafts Release #36

A big hello to you! I hope your day is going well!

The November Challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG was one I really enjoyed creating.. and it is..
the color of copper, the word GOOD and the technique is to use stars..  I was lucky to win some Trilby melts from Bec Beattie and I embossed my stars with the copper melts for my layout..

A college first..
 A Good Day!

And I created 2 layouts for the new release #36 for PAGE DRAFTS..

The tips and techniques are all about adding wet mediums to your creations..

The sketches that I used are as follows..

Sketch #36.1 by the Nifty Pixel
and I used paint on my paint brush and flicked the bristles close to the page to make great splats..

Be happy, be yourself.

Sketch #36.3 by The Nifty Pixel

and I cut my photo into 3 rather than use 3 photos.. I used a scrunched plastic bag and gelatoes for the pink color on my back ground..

Friends.
So pop on over and check out the wonderful creations by the other creative team gals at PAGE DRAFTS  and be sure to let Em know if you use any of her sketches by linking your post to the comments section.. We would love to see them!

Thanks again for dropping by in your busy day and thanks so much for any comments too..
